NBC first started out in 1997 as a local news site for the village of Umuofia, founded by Wakata Littu. Site visitation soon exceeded their number of severs. Things were looking up until later the following year. Umuofia had fallen victim to a Christian Missionary movement leaving Littu and his development team for dead.
